Turkey – İnsanın niyeti olmayinca gözü olsa da görmez

If one doesn’t want, one sees nothing, even if has eyes.

That’s a turkish saying. I turned it around a little for this set: Even if one has eyes and sees a picture, one doesn’t see (hear, taste, feel, smell) what else is there. And naturally not the story, which the person behind the camera also associates or also experienced.

From my two trips to Turkey in 2008 and 2019 I combined the photos with short texts.
